At the Greencastle Middle School, first impressions upon arrival have been renovated to accommodate a secure vestibule, with consideration of the unique configuration of the corridors when the school was originally designed, in order to better utilize space. This change moved the location of the administration area that is now adjacent to the entry, thus relocating existing classrooms to the center of the building. Major renovations and upgrades took place in the science areas, media center, cafeteria, restrooms, and classrooms. Exterior improvements also enhanced the general outward appeal and school spirit of the building.
