krM Architecture’s design team worked with this private healthcare client over several months to develop a campus master plan to resolve facility obstacles and provide a higher level of service. By engaging over 80 individuals across the organization, krM helped identify the hospital’s programmatic and strategic needs, advise on the most attainable options, and analyze the potential costs.
Community Hospital wanted to focus on growing and making upgrades that served their goal of extending services to become more of a regional hospital. The master plan krM created proposed reorganizing spaces to increase the efficiency of current services while planning for changes in operational needs and medical equipment. The plan offered solutions that would reorganize the campus to improve patient and provider experience, address product line goals to expand hospital services, and provide the facilities needed to implement a higher level of patient care for the region.
