krM’s project at Elwood Junior-Senior High School included an extensive renovation and upgrade at four different buildings throughout the corporation. The central administration office is housed in a re-purposed factory building that required significant remediation and upgrade of the offices and classrooms.
Work included complete replacement of the HVAC systems, replacement and reinforcement of large sections of the building facade, as well as a complete renovation of the interior spaces. The Career Center received major upgrades to their HVAC system and renovation of several classroom labs, including Welding, Robotics, and Business.
Other areas of work include extensive renovation of the high school weight room and restrooms, the addition of two much-needed student restrooms in the Intermediate School, and roofing replacement on multiple buildings.
